We are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Tax & Legal Division in our Athens or Thessaloniki office for the position of International Tax & Legal Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide international tax advisory with corporate tax compliance responsibilities
- Support cross-border transactions and multinational group structuring
- Participate in international tax structuring and reorganization projects
- Analyze and apply Double Tax Treaties for inbound and outbound investments
- Monitor and interpret EU Directives (e.g. ATAD, DAC6, VAT framework)
- Assist in transfer pricing projects, including documentation and intercompany arrangements
- Collaborate with international teams on multi-jurisdictional engagements
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and reporting requirements
- Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities
- Prepare tax memos and client reports
- Contribute to tax-related aspects of financial reporting and bookkeeping
- Act as a point of contact for international and local clients
- Translate complex tax concepts into practical business solutions
- Identify risks and opportunities within client structures
Requirements:
- University degree in Law, Accounting or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Very good knowledge of tax regulations, labor legislation, social & health insurance laws.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.with the ability to meet tight deadlines, ensuring frequent reporting on assignments.
- Excellent knowledge of ERPs e.g. Softone, Pylon & Data (EPSILON programs)
- Very good usage of Microsoft 365 package (excel, word, ppt).
- Experience in a multinational or consulting environment will be considered an asset
