HR Officer

Location: Greece, Athens

We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented individual to join our HR Department for the position of HR Officer. Based in Athens, the selected candidate will be responsible for HR operations across Greece and other Eurofast offices in the Balkan region and will report to the Managing Director of Operations.

Job description: 

Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the group, including job advertisement, CV screening, and interviewing
  • Coordinate onboarding procedures for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation, system access, and induction processes are completed smoothly
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other onboarding documentation
  • Support offboarding procedures, coordinate exit interviews, and communication with relevant departments to ensure a smooth transition

Payroll Administration

  • Collect & maintain records of contractual amendments, personnel changes, annual leave, and sickness records
  • Act as the main contact person with the external payroll provider, ensuring that monthly payroll data is submitted accurately and on time

Performance Management, Training & Employee Development

  • Perform quarterly check-ins, 30-day and 3-month employee interviews, as well as the yearly annual performance evaluations for all employees
  • Collect and assess training and development needs across departments
  • Coordinate and monitor training & development plans for employees across the group

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Keep up to date with labour law developments and communicate with relevant authorities to resolve queries and support compliance matters
  • Develop, reinforce, and communicate company policies and procedures across the organisation
  • Act as the main contact person regarding whistleblowing matters
  • Handle conflict resolution matters in a professional and confidential manner

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records across the group
  • Prepare HR reports for the Management team
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and surveys
  • Support ad hoc HR administrative tasks as required

Requirements: 

  • University degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 4-year experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the Greek labour law
  • Fluent in both Greek and English language both oral & written
  • Very good usage of Microsoft 365 package (excel, word, ppt).
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle a busy workload
  • Highly diplomatic and discrete with the ability to handle highly sensitive data
  • Experience in a multinational environment will be considered an asset
