The Client
Our client is a leading player in the field of sustainable energy and wind power sector, knowned for its innovative approach and vision. The company’s employees frequently travel abroad to participate in international projects, implement tasks on a global scale, and invest in new technologies and projects that contribute to sustainable development.
The Challenge
During the documentation collection phase for the internal audit, one of our employees noticed that a client’s employee was registered on CROSO ( Central Register of Compulsory Social Insurance ) as an employee working abroad. Although the employee regularly worked abroad over the years to implement work tasks and new projects, the client did not notify us in a timely manner that the employee had returned in Serbia. As a result, the employee’s status on CROSO should have been updated to that of a regular employee. This delay caused a misalignment in the employee’s contributions, requiring a retroactive update on CROSO from the exact date of their return.
Why they chose Eurofast
The client chose our company to make this change because we have extensive experience in handling complex administrative procedures and a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of data alignment on CROSO. Our reputation for trust, responsibility, and accuracy reassured the client that the process would be completed efficiently, fully compliant with regulations, and without risk of errors or future complications.
The Eurofast Approach
After a series of detailed discussions with the client and employee to precisely determine the situation, as well as the exact date of the employee’s return from abroad, we submitted a request to CROSO in order to establish the employee’s exact status and align the contributions. To achieve this, it was necessary to thoroughly review all relevant contracts and annexes to the employee’s agreement in order to definitively determine the dates of his assignment abroad. The process of submitting the request involved complex administrative procedures, both with CROSO and the PIO ( The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Republic of Serbia ), requiring precise coordination and expertise to correctly align the employee’s status.
The Results & Measurable Impact
After several discussions with CROSO and the PIO Fund, we were able to align the employee’s status for the precisely defined periods during which they were assigned to work abroad in previous years. Eurofast experts ensured that each period matched the employee’s true employment situation and that all contributions were correctly adjusted.
Without this intervention, the employee would have faced major future issues including mismatched contribution records, administrative disputes, and potential complications when claiming pension benefits.
