Eurofast colleagues lend a hand at Simba Animal Shelter
On Saturday, 17 October 2026, Eurofast colleagues came together at Simba Animal Shelter in Paliometoho to spend time with the dogs in its care and support the shelter team.
Our “Help Our Furry Friends” volunteering day took us outside the office for a morning of dog walking, playtime and help with everyday shelter tasks. It was an opportunity to give the dogs attention, exercise and positive human interaction as they wait for their forever homes.
For our colleagues, the visit offered a different way to spend time together. With a dog to walk or a task to help with, there was a shared purpose to the day and plenty of opportunity to connect beyond our usual working routines.
The visit also gave us a closer look at the work involved in caring for the animals. Behind every dog is a daily commitment to feeding, cleaning, exercise and companionship, carried out by the shelter team.
We were grateful to contribute our time and support to that effort. Thank you to everyone who joined, to the colleagues who organised the visit and to Simba Animal Shelter for welcoming us.
