EUROFAST: ANNUAL “SEEM” CONFERENCE 2013 IN BEAUTIFUL CYPRUS
Eurofast already started with the planning for its 6th Annual South Eastern European & East Mediterranean (SEEM) Conference, which will held this October in the beautiful and sunny island of Cyprus.
Many participants will join the event from the Region including team members from Eurofast offices in Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia FYR Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, as well as our close associates. The aim of these conferences is to discuss on strategic issues, highlight new service lines, reinforce our payroll and tax team as well as enhance our marketing strategy.
Eurofast voted for Cyprus as the hosting country out of the three candidate countries, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania. Gathering over 100 participants from abroad and having the conference this year in Cyprus is a good opportunity for Eurofast, which is a purely Cypriot company operating for over 30 years now and with presence in the Region of South East Europe and East Mediterranean, to prove to all visitors that the crisis didn’t change anything in Cyprus for visitors and that they may still have a fabulous time here. We would like to clear the image people still have in their minds seen from television and newspapers around the world as the banks have long since reopened and long queues are almost a remote memory.
After a fall in April, from 162,000 last year to 189,000, reservations and projected figures have recovered to last year’s levels, based on statistics from travel agents and airlines, according to the Cyprus Tourism Organisation. The tourism sector is a lifeline for Cyprus bringing in about 10.5 percent of GDP to the country.
