Monica is a highly experienced governance, risk, and compliance professional, specializing in internal audit. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in a variety of areas, including risk management, fraud investigations, and the meticulous control of financial reporting and management information systems. As an internal auditor, Monica plays a crucial role in both local and cross-border engagements for clients, as well as internal audits within the EUROFAST Organization across its international offices. Her extensive expertise covers the entire spectrum of internal audit processes, from meticulous planning and documentation to insightful data analysis, interviews, compliance assessments, and comprehensive reporting.
In her role, Monica brings a precision in cross-examining information, demonstrating practical and robust problem-solving skills. Her ability to cultivate trust-based business relationships has earned her a well-deserved reputation as a trusted advisor, both within and outside the Eurofast Organization. Monica’s academic background is equally impressive, holding two Master’s degrees—one in Applied Risk Management with a focus on Internal Audit from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and another in Accounting and Control of Businesses and Public Sector from the University of Piraeus.
