Our Bulgaria office is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Accounting Department for the position of Senior Accountant.
Job description:
- Preparation and booking of the accounting documents
- Preparation of Year-end statutory report
- Ensures timely and accurate depreciation postings
- Advance knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge about the Microinvest is considered an advantage
- VAT return calculation and booking
- Performs account reconciliations
- Construction industry experience
- Ensures compliance with local legislation and tax requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 10years of experience in accounting • Professional experience in AFS preparation;
• Professional experience in ATR submission, monthly and quarterly reporting to authorities;
• Proven experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or similar specialist – with deep knowledge of local accounting standards and procedures, and their application;
• Experience with financial and/or regulatory reporting from a legal entity perspective for internal and external bodies, in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements;
• Fluency in English
• Experience in international or multinational companies is considered an advantage
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
