Our Athens office is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Legal Department for the position of Junior Legal Advisor.
Job description:
- Drafting legal documents (petitions, lawsuits, powers of attorney, contracts, appeals, etc.)
- Legal research on various databases (e.g. Nomos)
- Legal research in the Land Registry
- Manage communication with the local authorities
- Monitoring legal and compliance due diligence, with assistance
- Drafting and revising contracts, with assistance.
- Handling administrative matters such as filing KYC documents, contracts
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations that may affect the company
Requirements:
- A University/College degree in Law with relevant certifications and qualifications to practice law in Greece
- Willingness to learn and thoroughly understand Greek corporate law, commercial law, and international business practices, civil, tax and migration law
- Fluent in both Greek and English
- Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate environment, law office/law firm
