Junior Lawyer – Athens

Location: Greece, Athens

As our office continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and career-driven individual to join our International Business Services Department (IBSD) as a Junior Lawyer. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated law graduate to gain hands-on experience in corporate, commercial, and general legal matters while fulfilling the requirements of their legal training in line with the Greek Bar Association.

The successful candidate will also benefit from a structured training program delivered by our experienced IBSD team in Nicosia, Cyprus. This cross-office exposure will provide valuable insights into international business law and enhance their professional development within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Job description:

  • Assist the Lawyer with drafting and revising legal documents, such as contracts and trust documents.
  • Conduct legal research to support the department in providing accurate and timely advice on fiduciary, trust, estate planning, and corporate matters.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in managing client relationships by providing exceptional service and responding to legal inquiries under the guidance of the Lawyer.
  • Maintain and update client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide legal guidance on various projects and transactions.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and industry regulations to ensure the company remains compliant with all applicable laws.
  • Participate in internal meetings and assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting minutes as required.
  • Prepare and maintain minutes of internal meetings, ensuring they are accurate and distributed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
  • Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Computer literate
  • Exhibit strong research capabilities
