Our Greek office is growing, and we are looking for a Class A Beneficiary Accountant to join our Accounting department in Athens.
Job Description:
- Prepare and submit VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings while ensuring tax compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and credit control, ensuring smooth cash flow operations
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring internal controls are robust
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and provide financial insights to aid decision-making
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant accounting qualification
- A Class A Beneficiary accounting license is required for this role
- Knowledge of generally accepted local accounting principles and IFRS updates
- 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel is required
- Fluent in both Greek and English Language both oral & written
- Analytical and attention to detail
