Dear clients and friends,
2018 was a year of many changes in our organization which were very important in redefining our strategy and the Next Chapter in Our Eurofast Story.
2018 marked the 40th anniversary of Eurofast Ltd but also the passing of our founder and my father Costas Damianou in October 2018 at the age of 81. It was our intention to start a series of events to celebrate our 40th year anniversary. However due to his loss and subsequent mourning we postponed our plans.
2018 was a year of many changes in our Group. It was the first year of operation without our beloved Director in South East Europe Panos Diallinas. Panos left us suddenly in December 2017 and left a major gap which we are still working to recover. Furthermore, we have experienced the departure of 2 of our partners Zoe Kokoni and Angelos Theodorou and other key managers.
While we somehow continue to cooperate with Zoe Kokoni, we have been informed that other former management personnel violated their contracts and we immediately obtained necessary court orders in order to protect our company and our clients’ interests, and to secure matters relating to confidentiality and clients’ solicitation. If you would like to learn more on this issue or need more details contact me.
Moving to our next chapter we are pleased to inform you that we have recruited numerous new professionals at the management level thus upgrading of our service. This positive change is already visible to our clients and associates and I’m very proud.
The year 2019, despite the financial slowdown of the sector in Cyprus, indeed proceeds remarkably well for Eurofast. All our other offices in South East Europe and the Middle East are running with double digit growth rates making our management team always on the go looking for new professionals and premises everywhere. Some service lines like the “payroll and employment” services and advisory services are particularly showing phenomenal growth. In Athens, we are soon moving to our new 1300sqm freehold offices in Syggrou Avenue. In Belgrade, we are moving next month to a very historic building in the heart of the city. In Skopje, our small office has already moved to new offices too. In Kiev, we are moving our office this month. We are also opening another office right now, in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
At the end of this short message and on behalf of my Board I want to thank you for being patient during this difficult period of time for us but above all for being loyal to Eurofast. You are now set to enjoy the difference in our service to you.
It has been a pleasure to serve you in the past and we look forward to doing business with you in the future.
Best regards to all.
Enjoy the rest of the summer.
Christodoulos Damianou,
CEO
