We are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Payroll Department in Athens, Greece for the position of Payroll Specialist
Job description:
- Perform daily payroll department operations
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Application of proper taxation of employer paid benefits
- Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
- Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
- General ledger customization based on the client’s need and additional GL files adjustments.
- Load import files received from HR
- Entry of employees’ data (new hires, changes, additional earnings) from the HR system of record to the payroll system.
- Provide payroll forms and information updated.
- Consultancy on payroll related issues.
- Determines value of depreciable assets by running depreciation software program.
- Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in payroll processing
- A University/College degree in Accounting /HR qualification
- Fluency in both Greek and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Knowledge of Pylon & Data (EPSILON programs) is desired
- Experience in working with international/multinational companies will be considered as an advantage
