Eurofast, on behalf of one of its clients is looking for a country General Manager with banking experience or experience in payment institutions and relevant academic and/or professional qualifications. The office are based in Athens.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Day-to-day management of the company.
- Organization of the company, the hiring and dismissal of staff.
- Development and realization of a corporate business plan.
- Development of operating plans and related budgets.
- Timely and efficient implementation of agreed plans and budgets.
- Development of appropriate structure for delegating authority to management staff.
- Professional management of the company resources, funds and other assets.
- Promoting and preserving the best possible image for the company.
- Carry out all functions and duties, reasonable or lawful from time to time assigned to you;
- Obey and comply with all lawful and reasonable instructions given to you by the Board of Directors of the company.
- Obey and comply with all laws and regulations of the Central Bank related to the governance of Payment Institutions.
- Promote the business and reputation of the company.
- Behave decorously at all times when acting within the course and scope of your employment, whether during your hours of work or after hours, in order to protect the company’s reputation as a regulated payment institution company of high reputation and so as not, by association, to bring the company’s name into disrepute;
- Inform the company of any changes to your status or circumstances such as change of address, marital status, dependents, qualifications, etc.
- Take proper care of any company property placed in your possession or custody from time to time and return such property promptly when expected or requested to do so by the company.
Authority
Decisions will be limited to issues within the development and operating budgets of the company and to issues set by the owners of the company and/or the Board of Directors of the company.
Relationships
- Reports to the Board of Directors and the Owners of the Company and coordinates his efforts always with the owners of the company.
- Supervises and controls all the Departments of the company.
- Works closely with other affiliated payment institutions and principals related to the company.
External Relationships
General Manager must have excellent relations with the following institutions/organizations/companies.
- Bank of Greece.
- Legislative and Regulatory Authorities.
- Other payment institutions, principals and banks locally and abroad.
- Software and IT companies supporting the operating system of the company.
